How to Burn DVD ripped files to DVD so it can play on my DVD player?

Hi every one I have just bought myself Sony Portable DVD player DVP-FX810 (Plays DVD, DVD+R DL, DVD+R/RW, DVD-R/RW, CD, CD-R/RW, MP3 and JPEG formats). I was hoping that I can watch movies on it while I am at work because at my work its gets really boring ones in a while. I had downloaded some DVD Ripped movies they come with extension of ( .vob .bup and .ifo ) and all files are around 4.5gb when I burn them with Nero as DVD video-files when I put disc in the player gives me an error check disc. But when I put that same disc in my Philips player which supports Divx everything works fine. I would like to know is there any way to burn DVD rip files so they can work on my Sony player and also is there are way to convert Divx to DVD.
I use TDK disc 4.5 gbs each

It is very simple with this tool

- download, install and run the program
- open a file or file you want to burn
- click “To DVD” button
- click “Convert Now”

After conversion is finished, it will ask you to insert a blank DVD.
