How can i connect an external usb hard disk on a LAN without using a pc?
I have a external usb hdd and i what to make it accessible over LAN but without connecting it to a PC with usb. I just want to make a network attached storage (NAS). Is there a device or someway to achieve that?
Yes. The linksys NSLU2 is a network attached storage device that will connect up to 2 usb drives to your network. I have one at home and it works great.
