Earnings Outlook: Strong growth seen for Seagate, Western Digital
Analysts who follow the hard-disk drive market say there are reasons to believe Seagate and Western Digital can build upon their strengths, at least through the first half of 2010.
Can I get my hard drive recognized by Windows Setup as a DVD drive?
I to install Windows from one of my hard drives. However, this does not seem to work with the installation package of Windows Vista if I copied the whole of it on my hard drive. The program Windows installation run for some time, but then started reading the warning "Can not copy files ... maybe the files are corrupted or not. "Please tell me if and how can I get my hard drive recognized by the installer as a DVD drive for installing Windows Vista process.
You could use a program like Daemon Tools to mount an image of a DVD as a virtual disk. But then you need to run on Windows! I do not understand why you have it on your hard drive, because Windows does not ship that way
