Sony HDTV tuner? Well?
My HD tuner out of my 36 "Sony Wega ... My TV technologies tried to fix it, but not very Tuner could be worth about $ 500 and he charges $ 200 for To install it ... anyway I'm not much that payments for repairs. All my other inputs work fine (HDMI, S-Video and DVI .... What are my options? I have no cable box nor will I pay to have one. Can buy an external HD receiver and run it from my analog TV via cable to HDMI? Any help will be greatly appreciated. My Hoa a free analog cable ... Will I through channels to get HD-tuner? What to add a set Tivo? I know it could not run HDMI B / C (Tivo is not it) but I was wondering if i can get Does the main channels through analog cable of S-Video input or video cables.
500 only tuner? I think even the full board will be that expensive. Some try to trick you. To a STB (Set Top box) will help, and it may connect directly via component or HDMI.
