Acomdata 3.5 "External Hard Drive Enclosure - install question (s)?
Hi all, thanks in advance. I recently purchased the above external hard disk case and am trying to install on my computer. (I'm trying to get information from an old hard drive that I replaced my computer up to date last year. Replaced, it wan't my computer works correctly - I'm sorry but I can not remember exactly what the problems with the hard disk.) I can not seem to get the driver cash to be recognized. It does not appear in Device Manager, and if I try to install new hardware is not found. It connects via USB. Does anyone have any advice on installing external drive? Thanks again!
If you can not hear the spinning disk is your problem check your hard disk to verify that the cables are on the bridge and all is correct (there should be instructions on the hard drive jumper) otherwise I recommend you change USB port. try right-clicking My Computer, click Manage, then management device if the hard drive under a tree question mark, then it is a driver issue. How to help all I can find the information provided. GL
