My hard drive is FAT32 how do i Format it in to NTFS Please help?
Hi guys, i just recently bough a 500gb hard drive and i am using it to back up large files but i cant because its FAT32 so i can only do 3gb at a time , Its an external hard drive here is the link

So please guys please tell me how to format it in to NTFS because right now it is FAT 32
You can load a live linux cd,eg knoppix,ubuntu ,fedora or open suse .Any of them will do the job.When you have already loaded the linux and it has started you can go to the Partition Manager.From there you can format it with anything from ext2 to NTFS.
