Which is better: a 1 TB hard drive or a 500GB hard drive?
I've never done anything before that used "TB", I have always seen GB. I had my computer sent back to Toshiba. I went to Micro Center first to diagnose the problem and save my files. They called and could save my files, but there was too much for a disc, so I needed an external hard drive. I went to get my files today, and because it was handled by phone, carried out the hard drive and such, I'm fine, but I was wondering ... External Hard Drives I looked online and all I saw were like, 300-500GB. Is more or less than 1 TB?
Hello, One terabyte is equal to two hard drives of 500 gigabytes or ten units of 100 gigabytes. Either is quite large and would well. The terabyte would probably be considered "better" because it can store twice as much data as the 500GB drive. His 1-terabyte drive should be fine. Probably never "full." Al
